You did one peepshow show and gave out this formula [your first pet’s name and your mum’s maiden name] and went through what everyone’s porn names were, but I didn’t hear them all.
Steve: Also that’s how we’re billed in the Another Postcard video - we’re billed by our porn names.
Ed: Chi-chi Sullivan (pointing at Ty)
Ed: I’m Max Shannon
Ty: Ernie Simmonds (pointing at Steve?)
Ed: Kev’s is great. His is amazing… Jim is Chaps Puttnam
Nic: That’s a gay porn name!
Steve: For sure!
Ed: Chaps Puttnam is a German gay porn star!
Ed: Kev is uhhh,…
All: Taffy O’Donnell!
Shaun (to Nic): What’s yours?

(Laughing)
Ty: That sounds real!
Ed: That’s great!
Shaun: I’m Rusty Bishop
(Gales of laughter, whooping and clapping)

Steve: That sounds like a euphemism for something vile!
Ty: (pulling a face) Oh, I’ve got a Rusty Bishop!
Steve: Stop scratching!

As you can probably tell, the interview pretty much degenerated into chaos from there as Jim and Kev turned up shortly after Tyler. They all dug into the cake with gusto though!:D

We did pick up some nice little snippets during these last few minutes though...

Christmas/Seasonal Songs
• Ed told me that they planned to have a week off, then do some 'seasonal songs' at Steve's studio, to be released at Christmas. This has now been confirmed by Steve on the BNLBlog.

Another UK Tour...?
• Ed also said that they really want to come back to the UK soon - possibly in September!

Bros Creeggan in the UK?
• Jim said that if the free Brothers Creeggan CD offer has drummed up enough UK interest, then he and Andy will definitely look into coming to the UK! I suggest everyone goes to the Bros website and tells them we want them over here!

Booyakasha!
• The whole band is obsessed with Ali G! Steve has since mentioned this on the blog too. It seemed that they'd all hit HMV in Kensington separately, as when Kevin arrived he was asking who else had been in the shop asking about what DVDs were available - seems the girl serving him was a bit exasperated as she'd already been asked that question!
Ed and Steve had already mentioned him during our chat, as they couldn't understand how come people over here are so dismissive - Ed said "Well, you know, it's so funny cos everyone we mention it to over here, whether it’s local crew or caterers, they’re all like “Yeah, well, that’s kind of over”. It’s like, does that mean that stuff’s not funny?! It’s hilarious! I don’t care if he’s not fashionable any more!" They were all planning to watch the DVDs they'd bought on the flight home - hope they enjoyed their "Ali G porn!"

So, that's the end of the interview. I had a blast and once again, I have to thank Shaun for all his hard work setting it up. The lovely bloke, now officially known as the "Nicest PR Guy in the World... Ever!" also needs another huge thank-you, and of course, Barbara and Aleix for the fantastic live pics that livened the interview up no end.
